BACKGROUND
Looking for the common thread through my past occupations, I find myself having always worked in positions where human transformation is stimulated.
Prior to becoming a Chiropractor in 2009, I was (and continue to be) a sculptor making large and small, indoor and outdoor, custom and gallery pieces.
I spent a short time in New York as a Blue Man in the Blue Man Group. I also spent several fantastic years as a wilderness guide and counselor to youth in Oregon, Utah, and New England-- these were my most rewarding years.
PASSIONS
I thrive in the outdoors and love to play with my kids, windsurf, road and mountain bike, unicycle, trail run, fish, wander into new places, and juggle.
My chiropractic story...
I have always been a "hands on" sort of person. I like to play hard and work hard, and along the way have picked up some scrapes, bruises, and the periodic debilitating injury.
During the recovery period of one of these mishaps I was lucky enough to find Dr. Larry Novick of Downtown Chiropractic in Portland. Dr. Novick has a unique and gentle approach--one which produced such tremendous results in my body I was forced to question and rework my whole concept of the mechanics of healing.
Shortly thereafter, I started pursuing Network Spinal Analysis (NSA)--yet another three-letter healing technique!--with newfound humility. This is no one-time miracle cure, but it is pretty neat, indeed.
